The name
Demigod is metaphor. Human on one side, the unknowable edge of explanation on the other. I do not need to know exactly what sits beyond the things we can measure to stay curious about it.
Seven has followed me since I was a kid — in times, patterns, coincidences and things I noticed, then kept noticing. Maybe that is attention. Maybe coincidence. Maybe something stranger. I do not know. Seven became meaningful because it became part of my experience.
The name matters because I chose it. The world gives us plenty of labels before we ever get a say. This one is mine.
The wizard and the tiger cub need each other. The old soul brings perspective and restraint. The cub brings instinct, innocence, energy and play. One keeps the other from becoming either rigid or reckless.
That tension runs through this whole site. I love evidence because it gives us something real to push against. I love metaphor because being alive is not only a spreadsheet. A symbol can be useful without being literally true, and a scientific model can be useful without becoming the thing itself.
That is why psychology, philosophy, fitness, networks, apps, art and illusions can all live here without needing to become one grand theory. They are different ways of looking, testing, moving and paying attention.
My views are allowed to change. Older writing can stay because the path matters too. I would rather leave the revision visible than pretend every conclusion arrived fully formed.
